What are we looking for?
We are looking for excellent student essays, dissertation excerpts, short commentaries, analytical pieces and creative work for our Blog. We welcome submissions on a rolling basis from all disciplines on contemporary social, economic, political, environmental, humanitarian, security etc. issues and how they relate to the theme of responsibility. Please get in touch if you are unsure whether your work meets our admissibility criteria.
All submissions should adhere to the author guidelines outlined below and be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org along with a completed submission form.
We welcome contributions on current developments in and reflections on contemporary social, economic, political, environmental, humanitarian, security etc. issues and how they relate to the theme of responsibility. The blog is a space for youth to express their thoughts or experiences regarding these issues through analytical pieces and commentaries. Creative work (poems, photography, video, short documentary etc.) reflecting personal experiences can be submitted in the Narratives section.
Word count: Blog posts should be between 800-1,500 words.
Referencing: Where possible, include hyperlinks. Otherwise, please use the Harvard referencing style.
Language: Submissions must be in English. If you would like to submit a piece but do not feel confident enough with your level of English, please get in touch. Our editorial team will be happy to work with you to refine your work and provide further guidance.
Formatting: Please use subheadings to structure your manuscript if needed. You must also include a suggested title with your submission. Any images included must be your own original work. Detailed formatting is done later in the editing process, once a submission is accepted.
